Perfectionism: Enemy of Productivity

#048: This is a continuation of my powerful series about Overwhelm and Productivity.
'Perfectionism' will cause us to feel overwhelmed and to be unproductive. Thoughts like, "I'm not good enough," " I have to have the answers," "It has to be perfect before I send it out," cause us to overwork...and under 'be'. That is, we are not present; we are not the best we can be in that moment (ironically).
We have to learn to calibrate: What does "good enough" look like? How can I do enough to be "good enough?" and then move on to the next important task and be good enough with that too.
Learn to ask, "What do I sacrifice when I try to be perfect?" "What do I gain when I am present, confident, and allow myself to not know all the answers?"
Leaders and parents, your perfectionism is contagious and toxic. Denise helps you upgrade your thoughts for the greatest good (for you, your kids, your team, and your potential to serve the world your talents).

#047: "The moment you realize you are not present, you are present." Ekhart Tolle
We are living amidst an epidemic of overwhelm. Overwhelm is a combination of confusion, dread, worry, anxiety, fear, and self-doubt.
We are not effective in this state, and this ineffectiveness compounds the pain.
To escape (and to help others escape), we have to create pauses where we are fully present and aware.
In this episode, Denise helps you notice and upgrade the thoughts that cause you to be everywhere but here, and how to arrive back at your presence.
